The service
FMProC Prep provides original situational judgement practice questions, rationales, progress tracking and study guidance for people preparing for the FMProC examination. The service is free to use. A voluntary contribution is optional and does not add functionality.
Unofficial status
FMProC Prep is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to the University of Calgary, the FMProC program, CaRMS, or any residency program. "FMProC" is used descriptively to identify the examination this material helps people prepare for. For exam dates, registration, format, scoring and eligibility, use the official sources.
Not medical or professional advice
The scenarios and rationales are educational material. They are not clinical guidance, legal advice, or a statement of any hospital's policy. Do not use them to make decisions about a real patient.
Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your credentials secure. Do not share your account or automate bulk access. We may suspend or remove accounts that abuse the service, scrape the bank, or interfere with other users.
Content and licence
The application code is open source under the MIT licence. The question bank, rationales and editorial content are © FMProC Prep and are provided for personal study only. We draft and review items and rationales with AI assistance; they are not official FMProC material and have not been reviewed by the FMProC panel. You may not republish, resell, or redistribute the bank in whole or in substantial part without written permission. Short quotations with attribution are permitted.
Contributions
Contributions are voluntary payments for an independent project. They are not charitable donations, and no tax receipt is issued. Because access is free, contributions are generally non-refundable. If you were charged in error or paid twice, contact us and we will correct it.
Availability and warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We try to keep questions accurate, but we do not warrant that the content is error-free or that practice scores predict exam performance. We may change, suspend or discontinue parts of the service.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, FMProC Prep is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for decisions made in reliance on the practice material. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
